ABOUT SADIQI AL WAFI
Sadiqi al Wafi comes from a family that has lived in Morocco since the twelfth century and in Marrakech and its environs (the Haouz of Marrakech) since the 1550's. He holds advanced degrees in Moroccan history, French Literature, Islamic Literature, and Modern French Criticism, (Semiotics), and has worked as a newspaper columnist and translator.
